I had it all figured out. Once the TARDIS rematerialized, I made a mad dash outside, silently noting that the doors closed and locked behind me.

“Hey! I worked out what it was. I know what I was missing! You've got to get out of there–” I called out, but froze when I realised where I was. As it turned out, the TARDIS actually decided to rematerialize in the middle of the Survey Corps mess hall. During dinner. “Aww… I did it again, didn’t I?”

Almost immediately, four blades were pressed to my throat. I followed the blades to the perpetrators, only to find that they belonged to four individuals; one was a short girl with ginger hair, one was a blonde man, one was a man with dark hair styled into a point at the back, and the last was a man who looked pretty old with light brown hair. I raised a brow at the lot of them.

“What is with you people and pointing swords at my neck?” they all glared at me, their suspicion was clear in their eyes.

“Lower your blades.” A familiar bored voice called out from behind me. The group tensed slightly before sheathing their swords away into pretty clunky boxes that hung by their sides. I glanced behind me and saw Levi and Hanji moving towards me, although Levi had a rather agitated look on his face as he glared at me.

“Ah! You have to listen to me! Prisoner Zero is here! Prisoner Zero is here! Do you understand me? Prisoner Zero is –” I was interrupted by a really hard punch to the head.

I was knocked out immediately.

*

“Levi! That was totally uncalled for!” Hanji exclaimed, kneeling down over the mysterious {h/c} haired woman.

Levi scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest. “Whatever. This crazy woman thinks she can just show up two weeks later than she said she would. I figured a punch to the head was letting her off easy.” He rolled his eyes.

“She was saying something though!” argued Hanji. The two squad leaders glared at each other for a while.

Levi turned to his squad. “Tie her up and throw her in the dungeon. I want to question her when she wakes up.”

*

I slowly regained consciousness while sporting a pounding headache. I tried to move, but found that I was being restrained somehow. Opening my eyes, I found that my hands and feet were tied together. My surroundings threw me off too; I seemed to be in a cell that was underground. A dungeon perhaps?

“So you’re finally awake.” I turned my eyes to look through the metal bars containing me, only to see none other than Levi. “To be honest, I didn’t think I hit you that hard.”

“Well, that's much better. Brand new me. Whack on the head, just what I needed. Is violence the answer to everything in this place?”

“You can shut up now. I will be the one asking the questions from here on out.” He opened the cell door. “I’m going to take you upstairs so I can get Erwin’s input on you.” He snatched me by the elbow and pulled me up roughly. I winced slightly as he dragged me upstairs and out of the dungeons, striding past a few young… soldiers…?

“No – you don’t understand! Look, how well do you know this castle?” I struggled slightly against my restraints. Chains and shackles.

Levi raised a thin brow at me. “I should think I know it pretty well…”

“How many rooms?”

“What?”

“How many rooms are on this floor? Count them for me.”

“Why should I do anything you ask me? You’re crazy.”

“You should do it because it will change your life.”

The short man glared at me with icy silver eyes. He glanced around quickly before replying. “Ten.”

“Eleven.”

“Eleven?”

“Look.”

“Look where?”

“Exactly where you don't want to look. Where you never want to look. The corner of your eye. Look behind you.” At my words, we stopped walking. Levi slowly looked behind him, only to freeze at the sight of a door that was definitely not there before.

Slowly, more and more people stopped what they were doing to listen in on our conversation. Levi turned back to me and glared at me, but I could see in his eyes – there was fear.

“No. That's… that is not possible. How's that possible?” he demanded, grabbing me roughly by the shoulders.

“There's a perception filter all around the door. I sensed it the last time I was here.” I sighed, looking at the door. “I should have seen it.”

“But that's a whole room. That's a whole room I've never even noticed.”

“Exactly. The filter stops you noticing. Something came a while ago to hide. It's still hiding, and you need to unchain me right now.”

“Captain, what’s going on – Doctor?” my attention was drawn to a brunette boy with his two friends. One a blonde male, the other a dark haired female. Eren, Armin, and Mikasa. Following them were Hanji, Erwin, and the rest of the group from earlier. They noticed where Levi was looking and paled.

“That… that door wasn’t there before was it?” Hanji asked as she moved towards it.

“Look, you need to stay away from that door!” I yelled out as she got closer. “Do not touch that door! Listen to me, do not open that!” Hanji completely ignored me, reaching for the doorknob. “Why does no-one ever listen to me? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to…? Again…?” I sighed.

“Oi! Shitty glasses, what are you doing?!” Levi called out, letting go of my arm and advancing towards her.

“No! Stop!”

*

Hanji opened the door, completely ignoring the Doctor’s protests. Upon entering the mysterious room, she found it to be in quite a miserable state. It was dusty and dirty with boarded up windows and boxes scattered around the room.

“Oi, Hanji, what the hell do you think you’re… doing…” Hanji turned to see Levi standing in the doorway with an incredibly uncomfortable look on his face. “What the hell…?”

Look! Is my screwdriver in there?” they heard the Doctor call out to them. “It’s silver with a blue tip!

“…There’s nothing here!” Levi called back.

Whatever's there stopped you seeing the room.” The Doctor replied. She sounded panicked and both Levi and Hanji immediately picked up on it. “What makes you think you could see it? Now please, just get out! Both of you!

They were silent for a bit until Hanji called out to the Doctor cautiously. “… Silver, blue at the end?”

My screwdriver. Yeah.

“It’s here…” Levi said.

It must have rolled under the door or something.

“Yeah. Must have…” Levi started. “And then it must have jumped up on the table…”

*

I was being held back by the group of four from earlier. I paled as I felt the blood leave my face at Levi’s words.

“Get out of there.” I said, only to be met by silence. “GET OUT OF THERE! GET OUT!” I repeated myself over and over again, feeling myself becoming more and more worked up the longer they were in there. “What is it!? What are you doing!?”

There’s nothing here, but–!” I heard Hanji say.

“…Corner of your eye…”

What is it?” that was Levi.

“Don't try to see it. If it knows you've seen it, it will kill you. Don't look at it. Do not look–” I was cut off by a scream. “GET OUT!” Soon after, Levi and Hanji quickly burst from the room, closing the door behind them. I heard panicked voices from the people around us, but ignored it as I saw my sonic screwdriver in Levi’s hand. “Give me that.” He placed it in my hand and I aimed it at the door, my other shackled hand following it. I locked the door and started making work on unlocking the shackles, but it wasn’t working. “Come on… what’s the bad alien done to you?”

“Alien?!” Eren and Armin exclaimed together.

I ignored them and continued trying to unlock my shackles.

“Will that door hold it… whatever it was?” Erwin asked slowly.

I scoffed, “Oh yeah, yeah, of course. It's an interdimensional multiform from outer space. They're all terrified of wood.” I muttered sarcastically, earning a glare from everyone.

Suddenly, a bright light shone through the cracks in the door.

“What's that? What's it doing?” one of the younger soldiers asked.

“I don't know. Getting dressed? Run. Just go. I'll be fine.”

“No way.” Levi said, flicking my hands away from the shackles and producing a key from his pocket. Swiftly, he unlocked my shackles and I massaged my wrists.

The door falls down to reveal an old man with and angry dog. The man was wearing farmer’s gear and looked rather sickly.

“But it's just–”

I interrupted whoever it was. “No, it isn't. Look at the faces.” The dog looked calm, but the man had a mangy snarl on his face, followed by a dog’s growl and bark.

“What? I'm sorry, but what?” Armin asked, bewildered.

“It's all one creature. One creature disguised as two. Clever old multi-form. A bit of a rush job, though.” I raised my voice at the alien. “Got the voice a bit muddled, did you? Mind you, where did you get the pattern from? You'd need a psychic link, a live feed. How did you fix that?” the man snarled again and moved towards us. He opened his mouth to reveal yellow teeth that looked like sharp needles.

Suddenly, a booming voice gained our attention. “Attention, Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded. Attention Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded.

“What's that?” asked the ginger girl.

“Well, that would be back up.”

“So we’re safe?”

Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated.

“Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration.”

Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated.

Suddenly, the beast disappeared.
I. HAVE. RETURNED.

.... slightly.

Good news is that I am now completely done with high school. Bad news is now it's time for the adult world.

I'm trying to beat this writer's block, but it's actually a lot harder in regards to Monster. I swear, if you guys are willing to give me some ideas for where you want things to go in regards to that story or this one, hit me up. I will love you forever for helping me get through this and thus get motivated to continue.
